Dr. Elizabeth Winter, ND, CPM

Dr. Winter believes strongly that health is more than the mere absence of disease and that restoring health is a dynamic process—not simply the suppression of symptoms. Through her medical training, Dr. Winter has come to have great appreciation for the interconnectedness of the body, mind, spirit and environment and works with her patients to restore vitality through addressing all aspects of a patient's life. Dr. Winter believes the role of a doctor is to partner with patients on a journey to health, coming to understand not only their unique physiology but their goals, preferences, beliefs and values in regards to their health and healing. Through using advanced laboratory testing, genetic testing and physical exam, Dr. Winter aims to come to a precise diagnosis for her patients and then uses a combination of the most effective natural and conventional treatments to restore the body to a state of well-being. Because of her integrated approach, the time she spends with patients, and the therapies she utilizes, patients find freedom from disease even if they have struggled with their health for a long time having "tried everything."

Caitlin Macky, INHC, NBHWC

Caitlin is a Board-certified Integrative Nutrition Health & Wellness Coach, and she is no stranger to the health care world. With nurses and doctors on both sides of her family, she grew up privy to the shortcomings of conventional medicine practices. Shortly after getting her degree in Sociology and Business from San Jose State University, she was diagnosed with chronic health issues of here own. It was then Caitlin started her personal journey with functional medicine and integrative living.

Blown away by her experiences within these fields, Caitlin decided to enroll at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. As a certified Nutrition Health Coach, Caitlin is trained in all dietary theories, bio-individuality, and functional nutrition.

Health Coaching is a collaborative and client-led process that works with both individuals and groups. These talk sessions aim  to facilitate and empower clients to develop and achieve self-determined goals related to their personal healthcare plans and overall well-being.

Caitlin believes that our health care plans, diets, and lifestyles should reflect the uniqueness of our individuality- our bodies, personal beliefs, environments, responsibilities, etc. She advocates for patient autonomy by helping her clients understand and strengthen their personal connections between mind and body.
